A computer engineer by qualification, Annu loves working with people and communities.
Passionate about bringing people together, she specialises in building inclusive partnerships to maximise social impact per rupee.
Through the course of her work, Annu has designed and delivered community development programs across 8 states in India, and in Cambodia.
From 2012- 2015, Annu established the India operations for the Foundation of the global CRM leader salesforce.com. She took the globally successful Salesforce Foundation model and adapted it to establish locally relevant community development programs in India.
Her work included managing the grants and partnerships portfolio, through which she set up various programs around education and knowledge access, technology access, financial inclusion, clean energy, sanitation and waste management and skill development for employability. She built partnerships and engaged with several NonProfits like TERI, Teach for India, Give India and Dasra through the grants and the technology donation programs. She also designed corporate volunteering programs generating over 4000 volunteered hours across Salesforce offices in India.
Annu started her career in CSR in 2009 at the Suzlon Foundation. Here she streamlined community development projects around factory locations and windfarms across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Daman, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. She also created and grew a program for employee engagement in CSR through volunteering and payroll giving.
Through her work at Alstonia, Annu wants to realise her vision of inclusive ecosystems in which companies do well by doing good, by embedding sustainability into their ethos, and establishing it as an integral part of their day to day operations.
